The company then changed its name to Delphi Corporation in 2002 and underwent a GM-backed restructuring in 2005.<\/p>\n\n<p>In 2011, Aptive was again listed on the U.S. market and experienced sustained growth in the following years; in 2017, the company acquired the software startup NuTonomy to strengthen its foray into self-driving technology. With this acquisition, Aptive participated in a major project to develop and commercialize self-driving vehicles.<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, Aptive has established Motional, a joint venture with the Hyundai Motor Group, to develop and commercialize high-performance, safe, self-driving vehicles in 2020.
