A global automotive technology supplier develops advanced mobility technologies supporting vehicle electrification, intelligent driving, and next-generation safety systems. The organization collaborates closely with major automotive manufacturers worldwide and operates engineering and development centers across multiple regions.
In Japan, the company maintains R&D facilities dedicated to advanced sensing technologies and intelligent driving systems, supporting global development programs in the field of ADAS and automated driving.
In this role you will be responsible for leading plant/business controlling and FP&A activities for an industrial operation within the automotive sector.
The position combines monthly closing, financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, KPI reporting, CAPEX review, and internal control support, while acting as a hands-on business partner to local management. In addition to core controlling responsibilities, the role may also support certain back-office related activities at the site.
You will operate independently, provide strong financial insight to management, and contribute to both short-term performance monitoring and long-term business planning.

- Financial Closing & Reporting
・Participate in monthly closing activities.
・Ensure proper closing processes for actuals, forecasts, and budget
・Business plan cycles
・Consolidate weekly financial reporting and key KPIs.
Management Analysis & Business Support
・Provide monthly financial analysis to management, including explanations of variances versus budget and prior month performance across P&L and operational metrics.
・Perform ad hoc financial and business analysis as required.
・Conduct on-site management control reviews.
Planning & Forecasting
・Contribute to budgeting and long-term business planning activities.
・Support preparation of guidelines, allocations, and standard templates for planning processes.
・Consolidate improvement and recovery actions related to business performance.
Control, Compliance & Investment Review
・Review and pre-validate CAPEX requests.
・Contribute to ethics and compliance initiatives.
・Support internal audit and internal control activities.
・Help benchmark and standardize management control tools.

- 応募資格（必須）
- ・Financial experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
・Experience in FP&A, including exposure to accounting and finance
・Bilingual in Japanese and English

・Comfortable supporting not only controlling work but also selected back-office activities at the site
・Strong analytical and communication skills in both local and international environments
・Self-sufficient and able to manage controller responsibilities independently
・Practical and hands-on rather than purely managerial
・Comfortable working closely with plant/site stakeholders
・Able to handle both financial analysis and operational support tasks when needed
