This company is a global automotive technology supplier specializing in advanced sensing systems, electrification, and intelligent mobility solutions.
The company operates internationally with strong R&D capabilities and collaborates with major OEMs to develop next-generation safety and in-cabin technologies.
In this role, you will serve as the System Design Leader for automotive camera products used in ADAS applications.
You will design the overall product architecture, manage system requirements, and coordinate technical interfaces across software, hardware, and mechanical engineering teams. Rather than focusing on one component, you will take a top-down view of the entire product and make the technical decisions required to balance performance, quality, cost, maintainability, and development risk.
This is primarily a technical specialist position, not a people-management role.

- System Architecture & Technical Design
・Design the overall architecture of automotive camera systems and their main components.
・Define system concepts while balancing performance, cost, quality, reliability, and technical feasibility.
・Lead design reviews, technical risk assessments, and improvement proposals.
・Maintain a holistic, product-level view across all engineering domains.
Requirements Management
・Analyze, organize, and manage product and system requirements.
・Decompose and allocate requirements to software, hardware, mechanical, and other development teams.
・Perform impact analysis when requirements or designs change.
・Maintain technical consistency and traceability across the complete system.
Cross-Functional Engineering Coordination
・Coordinate technical activities across software, hardware, mechanical, integration, and validation teams.
・Manage product interfaces and dependencies between engineering domains.
・Maintain the original design concept while supporting implementation by each specialist team.
・Contribute to the improvement and standardization of technical processes and engineering methods.
Customer & Global Collaboration
・Conduct technical discussions with customers regarding system requirements and specifications.
・Collaborate with domestic and international engineering sites.
・Prepare system-design documents, technical reports, and regular development updates.
・Explain complex technical topics clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

- 応募資格（必須）
- ・Hands-on design or development experience with ADAS-related products.
・Practical experience as a System Architect, System Design Engineer, System Lead, or in an equivalent product-level technical role.
・Approximately 5–10 years of relevant system or product-development experience.
・At least 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience.
・Experience making technical decisions across multiple engineering domains.
・Business-level Japanese, approximately JLPT N2 or above.
・Business-level English for internal meetings, global coordination, and technical reporting.

- ・Experience developing automotive cameras, sensing systems, or perception-related products.
・Knowledge of automotive development standards and functional safety, such as ISO 26262.
・Experience managing requirements, system interfaces, architecture, and design changes.
・Customer-facing technical communication experience.
・Experience working with global engineering teams.
・Language flexibility. Technical strength is the highest priority. Candidates with exceptional system‑design expertise may still be considered even if their English level is closer to conversational.
