The Mechanical Integration Principal Engineer will lead mechanical design and integration efforts to support early-stage product development for Japan-based customers, enhancing the in-vehicle audio experience. This role serves as the primary technical interface, independently driving mechanical concepts, planning, and customer engagement.

職種要約

Serve as the lead customer interface for mechanical aspects of product pre-development.
Develop and propose advanced mechanical designs using CATIA V5, including 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
Conduct tolerance stack-ups, thermal simulations, and design validations using FEA, mold flow, DFMEA, and related tools.
Analyze audio system concepts with respect to customer requirements, cost, manufacturability, and quality.
Lead internal design reviews, prepare technical documentation, and stay current on manufacturing innovations.
Travel to customer and supplier sites as needed to support design and development activities.
応募資格（必須）

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
5 years or more experience in automotive product design
3 years experience in a customer facing position, working with an OEM or supplier
Deep understanding of automotive product development processes
CATIA V5 CAD design or other CAD software knowledge
Experience with DFMEA and/or DRBFM as well as PLM tools
応募資格（優遇）

Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or MBA
Experience in design and engineering of injection molded plastic components
Previous work experience in audio design and knowledge of electronics
Usage of analytical tools such as ANSYS and Mold Flow
