This globally recognized technology leader in electronic design automation solutions is seeking a Field Application Engineer – Emulator/Prototyping Solutions based in Tokyo. This role supports the growth of next-generation semiconductor verification and prototyping technologies by providing technical expertise and customer-facing support. - - Collaborate with sales teams to drive pre-sales technical activities including product evaluations and benchmarks.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, propose solutions, and guide them through successful product deployment both onsite and remotely.
- Deliver technical support and training sessions to enhance customer proficiency with emulation and FPGA prototyping platforms.
- Coordinate with global R&D and marketing teams to ensure customer feedback informs future product development.
- Provide expert troubleshooting, presentations, and support on design methodology and flow integration.
- Support business development through strong customer relationships and consultative engagement.

- 応募資格（必須）
- - 6+ years of experience in electronic system design, simulation, verification, or prototyping.
- Deep knowledge of FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus), RTL languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog), and hands-on design/debug experience.
- Familiarity with EDA tools and flows; prototyping systems expertise is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, shell scripts) and formats (Makefile, XML, JSON).
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or above) and reading/writing technical English; some business travel required.
