A global industrial engineering company provides advanced sealing, bearing, and related technical solutions to customers across a wide range of industrial applications. The organization focuses on solution-based sales, combining products, application knowledge, and technical support to improve equipment performance and maximize customer satisfaction.
In Japan, the business works closely with domestic customers through a consultative sales approach, supported by technical specialists when deeper engineering expertise is required.
In this role you will introduce customers to the technical ability of the company. You will use your strong technical knowledge not only for the customers but also to support the sales team and develop potential solutions for complex customer requirements. Your work will help you develop an expert understanding of the market and technical backgrounds of industry leading products.

- Customer & Application Engineering
・Provide technical expertise and application support to customers requiring advanced engineering assistance.
・Understand customer applications, requirements, and technical challenges.
・Recommend appropriate products, services, and engineering solutions.
・Develop customized product solutions according to customer needs and technical requirements.
・Provide technical consultation and application support throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Engineering Support
・Work closely with Sales Engineers to support project success and new business opportunities.
・Provide current product and technical information to the sales organization.
・Recommend strategic products based on customer applications and requirements.
・Support customer proposals with product specifications, technical drawings, key product features, and value propositions.
・Provide the technical expertise necessary to support commercial activities.
Product Investigation & Technical Problem Solving
・Investigate products returned from customers or the market.
・Analyze potential root causes of product or application-related issues.
・Prepare technical investigation reports.
・Apply analytical and structured problem-solving skills to technical customer issues.
Market & Application Knowledge
・Monitor relevant market trends and industry developments.
・Maintain knowledge of customer applications and technical requirements within assigned segments.
・Share relevant market and application insights with Sales Engineers.
・Continuously develop knowledge of products, technologies, and applications.

- 応募資格（必須）
- ・Degree or equivalent technical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
・Experience working with a Quality Management System (QMS), such as ISO 9001.
・Experience using CAD and the ability to create and interpret technical drawings.
・Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
・Fluent Japanese communication ability.
・Ability to prepare technical and business reports in English.
・Strong communication and presentation skills.
・Strong analytical, logical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
・Ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities.

- 応募資格（優遇）
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
・2+ years of experience in engineering, technical support, application engineering, or a related technical position.
・Experience with FEA / Finite Element Analysis.
・Experience using 3D CAD.
・Business-level English communication ability.
・Experience within the medical device, healthcare, or related industry.
