The Sales Engineer helps to support business development and customer engagement within the automotive industry. This role is responsible for managing commercial activities across product programs, serial life, and acquisitions while building strong relationships with OEMs and ensuring profitable, long-term growth.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts in purchasing, engineering, and program management through regular visits and communication.
    Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure a high level of engagement at key project milestones.
    Prepare commercial offers in response to customer requests, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and negotiation tactics.
    Ensure compliance with contractual and sales administration guidelines, including purchase orders, invoices, terms of payment, and overdue management.
    Manage serial life activities such as engineering change requests (ECRs), cost impact analysis, piece price and tooling adjustments, and spare parts business.
    Act as Program Sales Leader, participating in program core teams and proactively negotiating commercial responses to ECRs.
    Track and manage program profitability and align with business plans.
    Support acquisitions as part of the acquisition team, contributing to business plans and commercial offer preparation.
    Monitor and manage local economic factors including inflation and exchange rates.
    Prepare and report commercial productivity proposals to optimize margin performance.
  • 応募資格(必須)
    Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
    Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience in the automotive industry (B2B).
    Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
    Strong knowledge of customer business practices, competitor landscape, and automotive commercial processes.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and strong reporting skills.
    Solid financial and cost analysis capabilities.
    Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    Team-oriented, with strong client focus and results-driven mindset.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
