A global automotive electronics manufacturer develops advanced technologies that enhance vehicle safety, comfort, and driver awareness. The company works closely with major automotive manufacturers worldwide and collaborates across global engineering, quality, and commercial teams to deliver innovative automotive products.
In Japan, the organization plays an important role in adapting global products to local customer requirements and acting as a bridge between Japanese OEMs and overseas development teams.
In this role you will be responsible for leading system-level development activities for advanced automotive electronic products, serving as a senior technical interface between Japanese OEM customers and global engineering teams.
You will take ownership of requirement analysis, system architecture, integration, validation, and technical issue resolution while also providing guidance to junior engineers. The position requires strong technical leadership, structured problem-solving, and the ability to communicate clearly with both domestic and international stakeholders.

- System Development & Technical Leadership
• Lead technical discussions and requirement analysis with Japanese automakers
• Define system requirements and system architecture
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical leadership where needed
• Identify technical issues, assess risks, and propose effective countermeasures
Global Coordination
• Coordinate specifications and joint development with overseas headquarters teams
• Align technical decisions across multiple sites and departments
• Support smooth communication between Japan and global engineering teams
Integration, Validation & Testing
• Plan and execute system integration and evaluation using HILS and related ECUs
• Support technical discussions related to system performance and validation
Customer Support & Team Development
• Conduct technical demonstrations and product presentations for customers
• Provide technical guidance and review support for junior engineers

- 応募資格（必須）
- • 10+ years of experience in embedded systems or automotive product development
• Proven experience in requirement definition, architecture design, or system validation
• Ability to explain technical topics and conduct design reviews in English (meetings, email, documents)
• Strong understanding of software development processes and system architecture
• Experience coordinating across multiple sites or departments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent Japanese for customer-facing communication

- 応募資格（優遇）
- • Experience as a system engineer or lead engineer in an OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment
• Practical experience with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, or ASPICE
• Experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and tools such as CAN, , LIN, CANoe
• Experience presenting technical topics in English with global teams
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Knowledge of electronic hardware
• Strong technical leadership within their area of expertise
• Logical and structured thinker
• Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both domestic and international teams
• Motivated to contribute to team growth and development in Japan
