A Japanese deep-tech startup established in April 2024, specializing in the development of autonomous driving systems for heavy-duty trucks. The company aims to transform Japan’s logistics industry by addressing challenges such as driver shortages, an aging workforce, and increasing freight transportation demand. Focusing on autonomous highway transportation, it develops advanced AI-powered technologies designed to improve transportation safety, operational efficiency, and logistics sustainability. Through collaboration with automotive manufacturers and logistics companies, the company is working toward the commercialization of autonomous trucking solutions and the development of next-generation automated freight transportation infrastructure in Japan.
This role focuses on building reliable and scalable autonomous driving system software that bridges sensors, computing platforms, and vehicle networks. The position is responsible for developing system-level architectures, software services, and automation frameworks to improve data integrity, hardware reliability, and operational stability in real-world driving environments.
This role sits between hardware and the autonomy software stack. Its main responsibility is to ensure that real sensors and other data sources can reliably produce standardised data for downstream of the system.

- ■System Architecture & Software Integration
Participate in the system-level design of next-generation vehicle architectures with a focus on software-hardware interfaces.
Design and implement system-level services and utilities for hardware state management and vehicle network communication.
Develop automation frameworks for system initialization, peripheral management, and cold-start reliability.
Develop and maintain Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) to support seamless transitions across hardware platforms.
■Validation & System Integrity
Analyze logs and system behavior to ensure reliable sensor data flow into the autonomous driving stack.
Develop monitoring and reliability engineering tools to validate hardware health and runtime system performance during testing.

- 応募資格（必須）
- ・Educational background in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
・Proven experience with C, C++, or Python within integrated or embedded systems.
・Strong knowledge of Linux environments including system administration, networking tools, and shell scripting.
・Understanding of automotive communication protocols such as Ethernet and CAN.
・Ability to write clear and accurate technical specifications and reports.
・Strong collaborative mindset with a proactive learning and support attitude.
・Working proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Chinese, Japanese, and English.

- ・Experience with or knowledge of ROS2.
・Familiarity with autonomous driving sensor technologies including Camera, Radar, LiDAR, GNSS, and IMU.
・Experience in system-level development and hardware-software integration design.
・Strong communication skills in English or Chinese.
