Senior Product Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual Testing)

A growing EV-Fleet startup is looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer to work alongside our backend, DevOps, and product teams to ensure ultra-reliable, secure, and performant APIs and microservices powering our scalable SaaS platform.

  • 職種要約
    ● Manual Testing: Execute comprehensive manual testing of our web applications using provided Vercel deployment links to ensure each release meets our quality standards.
    ● Customer Communication & Quality Alignment: Actively communicate with customers to understand their quality expectations and align on the minimal acceptable quality for features.
    ● Bug Detection & Reporting: Identify, document, and report issues and bugs using GitHub pull requests and linear ticketing, maintaining clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports.
    ● Feature Validation: Verify that new features and enhancements function as intended, ensuring a seamless user experience and adherence to project requirements.
    ● Test Case Execution: Develop, manage, and execute test cases and checklists based on detailed project requirements and user stories.
    ● Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers. We use Linear as our product management tool, so you will also collaborate through Linear to track features, tasks, and issues effectively.
    ● Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing during release cycles to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
    ● Documentation: Assist in updating and maintaining test documentation, ensuring that testing processes and results are comprehensively documented.
  • 応募資格（必須）
    - 2+ years in quality assurance or manual testing, preferably within web applications or SaaS environments.
    - Ability to understand the high-level architecture and functionality of complex systems.
    - Comfortable navigating and testing applications via Vercel deployment links.
    - Hands-on experience using GitHub for issue tracking and collaboration.
    - Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail to catch even subtle issues in user interfaces and workflows.
    - Fluent in both English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate findings clearly through detailed bug reports and effective collaboration with team members and customers.
    - Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies and test case creation and execution.
