A growing EV-Fleet startup is looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer to work alongside our backend, DevOps, and product teams to ensure ultra- reliable, secure, and performant APIs and microservices powering our scalable SaaS platform.

This Quality Assurance Engineer position will work with back-end, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high reliability, security, and performance of APIs and microservices that support a scalable SaaS platform.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Manual Testing: Execute comprehensive manual testing of our web applications using the provided Vercel deployment links to ensure each release meets our quality standards.

    Feature Validation: Verify that new features and enhancements function as intended, ensuring a seamless user experience and adherence to project requirements.

    Manual Testing: Comprehensive manual testing of the web application using the Vercel deployment link. Ensure each release meets quality standards.

    Collaboration with teams: Work closely with development engineers and product managers to effectively manage features, tasks, and issues using Linear.

  • Requirements
    - 2+ years in quality assurance or manual testing, preferably within web applications or SaaS environments.
    - Ability to understand the high-level architecture and functionality of complex systems.
    - Comfortable navigating and testing applications via Vercel deployment links.
    - Hands-on experience using GitHub for issue tracking and collaboration.
    - Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail to catch even subtle issues in user interfaces and workflows.
    - Fluent in both English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate findings clearly through detailed bug reports and effective collaboration with team members and customers.
    - Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies and test case creation and execution.

    Experience in quality assurance or manual testing (2+ years, experience in web application or SaaS environment welcome)
    - Ability to understand the overall structure and functionality of complex systems
    - Experience in operating and testing applications using Vercel deployment links
    - Issue management and collaboration experience using GitHub - Basic knowledge of manual testing methods, test case creation and execution - Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese Collaboration experience
