Key responsibilities include managing patent and trademark applications, handling third-party IP rights matters, and ensuring compliance with the company's IP policies. The role also involves fostering an intellectual property mindset within the organization, securing budgets for IP activities, coordinating with external parties, and overseeing trademark monitoring for global expansion. Additionally, the role requires managing disputes and litigation, providing infringement assessments, and training team members to strengthen the IP function's growth. As operations expand, the role will involve developing and revising workflows to meet evolving needs.

• Establishing the foundation for IP operations
• The IP function was established in 2023, and the necessary tasks are currently being developed by reviewing workflows on a case-by-case basis. As the scope of operations expands, it will be necessary to flexibly develop or revise workflows. For subsidiaries, it will be necessary to propose and support the execution of systems to carry out the required tasks.
• Simultaneous efforts to foster an intellectual property mindset within the company and its subsidiaries.
• Securing budgets for activities that support the presence and growth of the IP function (internal awareness activities).
• Patent and trademark application rights management
• Invention discovery activities and patent applications through intellectual property (IP) starting in 2025.
• Intermediate handling of past cases for which patent applications were handled by IP (response to rejection notices from the patent office).
• Trademark application tasks based on business department needs, managing and handling trademarks already filed by the company and subsidiaries.
• Handling third-party IP rights matters (respecting third-party IP rights as specified in the company brand's Code of Conduct).
• Preventive activities to ensure smooth business operations for the company and its subsidiaries, without causing inconvenience to the parent company.
• Timely third-party patent searches in line with development activities, providing infringement assessments as needed.
• Monitoring trademarks for global business expansion and appropriately responding to concerns.
• Handling disputes and litigation.
• Coordination with external parties (IP, subsidiaries, patent offices).
• Coordination of patent applications related to the brand's development technologies and third-party patent responses
• Ensuring appropriate use of brand-owned trademarks by the company and its subsidiaries, confirming trademark use with the brand and applying for approval.
• Responding to patent and trademark application requests and usage applications from internal and external subsidiaries
• Other tasks (handling individual cases, member development, etc.).
• On-the-job training (OJT) to further enhance the expertise of team members, and management of the IP function with a focus on its growth at the company

- 応募資格(必須)
- • English proficiency (TOEIC 700 or above, or business usage experience used for overseas communication)
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities (the ability to create an atmosphere where people want to work with you).
• Practical experience and management experience in corporate intellectual property, particularly understanding strategic intellectual property activities carried out by a well-established corporate IP function. This will enable you to suggest directions and make proposals that align with the current level of operations.
