n this role, you will manage a small team and be responsible for sourcing high-precision components and systems used in advanced aerospace applications. Your work will play a key role in shaping supplier relationships, driving procurement strategy, and ensuring supply chain effectiveness in a complex technical environment. With your expertise the company will improve their ability to engineer new space-oriented solutions and expand into an international market.

-Develop and implement procurement strategies for engine components, materials, and services, ensuring alignment with the company’s engineering and product goals.
-Assess and select suppliers based on their technical capabilities, quality assurance processes, and cost-effectiveness, particularly in the context of aerospace systems.
-Lead vendor selection activities in collaboration with Engineering and Sourcing & Procurement (S&PA) teams, ensuring timely and reliable supply chains.
-Lead Request for Quote (RFQ) processes, negotiate contracts, and manage purchase orders for complex aerospace components and materials.
-Ensure contracts are fully compliant with internal regulations, industry standards (e.g., JISQ/AS9100), and specific procurement requirements for rocket engines and related technologies.
-Drive vendor performance across the component production lifecycle, focusing on optimal Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance.
-Monitor contract performance, ensure compliance at each stage of manufacturing, and implement corrective actions as necessary to address risks and issues.
-Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure that procurement activities support the timely development and production of aerospace technologies.
-Collaborate with the legal department to ensure that all procurement contracts and documents are in line with company policies and industry regulations.
-Identify areas for process improvement in procurement activities and implement best practices, particularly in areas like lean manufacturing, risk mitigation, and international procurement strategies.
-Be proactive in identifying and mitigating risks associated with the supply chain, supplier quality, and project timelines.
-Prepare procurement strategies for future global market expansions, focusing on developing new supplier relationships in international markets.
-Optimize the supply chain, considering raw materials, manufacturing operations, validation, inspection, and overall logistics.
応募資格（必須）

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (preferably in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field).
-5+ years of hands-on experience in procurement for a manufacturing industry.
-Native-level proficiency in Japanese.
-Strong contract negotiation skills.
-Experience using MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
-Knowledge of supplier quality processes.
