This role serves as the Segment Leader for Indirect Procurement, overseeing all indirect purchasing activities across multiple sites in Kanagawa—including headquarters, manufacturing plants, and R&D centers. Unlike direct procurement, which directly influences product costing, indirect procurement plays a critical role in optimizing company‑wide operations related to staffing, IT, equipment, events, and other essential support functions. You will act as a strategic partner, guiding stakeholders toward the best QCD (Quality / Cost / Delivery) decisions and shaping the sourcing landscape through competitive strategy, negotiation, and governance.

The role requires close cooperation with overseas teams, suppliers, engineers, and supply chain functions, strong supplier relationship management, and business-level English due to frequent international communication.
