A major automotive supplier of technologies such as lighting, electronics, sensors and autonomous driving systems.

This is a hybrid role combining quality engineering and application engineering responsibilities within the Special Original Equipment (SOE) business. You will act as a key technical interface for customers in Japan, handling quality issues, supporting product applications, and coordinating closely with global teams.

As part of a small and agile Japan team, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction, stable operations, and business growth.

職種要約

Serve as the primary technical contact for customers in Japan, supporting product application, implementation, and technical inquiries.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate appropriate technical solutions with internal engineering and product teams.
Act as the key interface between customers and global engineering, quality, and headquarters organizations.
Support RFQ and project activities from a technical perspective, including requirement clarification and feasibility discussions.
Coordinate technical issue investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution throughout the product lifecycle.
Manage customer quality-related topics by coordinating root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up activities with global teams.
Monitor customer issues, technical requests, and quality performance, ensuring timely escalation and closure where necessary.
Prepare technical reports, customer updates, and documentation while supporting continuous improvement and business growth activities in Japan.
応募資格（必須）

Experience in Application Engineering, Field Engineering, Customer Technical Support, Quality Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role
Automotive industry experience
Strong technical understanding of automotive systems or components
Experience communicating directly with customers and coordinating technical issues
Business-level English and native-level Japanese
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field

Experience supporting customer development projects or product implementation
Basic understanding of quality processes and problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, etc.)
Experience working in a small organization with broad responsibilities
