As a Metrology Application Engineer, you will drive the development, optimization, and sustainability of metrology solutions that support semiconductor manufacturing quality, yield enhancement, and process control objectives. You will collaborate closely with process integration, process, equipment, manufacturing, and technology development teams to create and refine metrology recipes, improve defect detection capabilities, and transfer new technologies into high-volume manufacturing environments. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring recipe health, exploring new metrology methodologies, supporting capacity and productivity improvements, and implementing quality and yield enhancement initiatives aligned with Micron's technology roadmap. You will analyze manufacturing data, resolve process-related issues, manage risks, and support continuous improvement efforts that improve product reliability, operational efficiency, and manufacturing excellence. Through strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication with global teams, you will contribute to the successful deployment of advanced metrology solutions that enable next-generation memory products and technology advancements.

- Develop, create, and optimize metrology recipes to support semiconductor manufacturing quality, yield, and reliability objectives.
- Monitor and maintain metrology recipe health to ensure stable and accurate process measurements in production.
- Design and implement detection methodologies to improve defect capture, process monitoring, and yield performance.
- Collaborate with Process Integration, Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, and Technology Development teams to support new technology introductions and product ramps.
- Transfer metrology methodologies, recipes, and best-known methods (BKMs) from Technology Development into high-volume manufacturing.
- Analyze process and metrology data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for yield, quality, and performance improvements.
- Support yield enhancement initiatives by developing detection strategies for process excursions and manufacturing defects.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on quality, cycle time reduction, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization.
- Evaluate and implement new metrology techniques, applications, and measurement methodologies aligned with Micron's technology roadmap.
- Investigate and resolve metrology-related manufacturing issues to minimize production risk and maintain process stability.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to prevent quality and production disruptions.
- Partner with global engineering teams to standardize metrology practices, processes, and operational procedures.
応募資格（必須）

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical knowledge in Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
- Ability to develop, modify, and optimize metrology recipes for semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate process and yield issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
