Their experienced team specializes in designing, producing, and selling components, integrated systems, modules, and services to automakers and the aftermarket. With more than 100,000 employees across more than 30 countries, the company operates almost 200 plants, 20 research centers, 39 development centers with reported sales of €19.1 billion.
The company offers a broad range of smart sensors and features that enhance vehicle safety and comfort, including automated parking systems and advanced driving assistance technologies.
The firm is seeking a dynamic OE Aftermarket Business Development Manager to lead and expand mainly their Original Equipment (OE) business across Japan, Korea, and ASEAN.
Based in Tokyo, this role is central to driving regional growth in collaboration with our Asia Regional Director and managing a diverse, cross-border team.
This position requires not only sales and account management expertise but also strong business development skills to create new opportunities in OES second-brand/genuine parts, re-manufacturing and repair solutions, and factory/dealer option programs.

- Responsibilities
- Regional Business Development: Lead aftermarket business growth across Japan, Korea, and ASEAN, with a focus on OES and IAM.
Strategic Missions:
Expand OES Business – grow second-brand and second-genuine programs.
Develop Re-Manufacturing/Repair Business – in-house solutions targeting sustainability and cost competitiveness.
Strengthen Factory & Dealer Options – create tailored solutions and expand penetration in this growing channel.
Market Growth Activities: Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and category management to identify opportunities.
Sales & Marketing Execution: Develop and drive sell-out campaigns and promotional activities to strengthen brand presence and demand generation.
Customer Engagement: Build strong, long-term relationships with OEMs and aftermarket partners, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.
Team Leadership & Visibility: Provide leadership and clear reporting to the Asia Regional Director; ensure alignment and collaboration within the team across Tokyo, Seoul, and Bangkok.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product lines, marketing, and operations to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Financial Accountability: Manage sales targets, budgets, and profitability goals for the region.

- Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management in the automotive aftermarket or related industries.
Strong commercial and analytical mindset, able to identify new business opportunities and drive execution.
Experience working in international business environments; ability to manage multi-country stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to lead teams and provide visibility and alignment across different countries.
Fluency in English; Japanese or Korean language skills are a plus.
