In this position, you will be in charge of battery frame and body framework product development, and will be responsible for the advanced development of battery frame and body framework products for electrified vehicles, as well as hardware development to achieve optimal functional integration of the underbody of the vehicle with BEVs.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Advance development of battery frame and body framework products for electrified vehicles
    ・Development of hardware to realize optimal functional integration for BEVs by leveraging our strengths in vehicle underbody
    ・Planning, design, and evaluation of planning concepts
  • Requirements
    -Experience in design and analysis of vehicle body framework or chassis framework
    -Experience in development of structural parts using skill battery frame and new commercial materials to understand crash safety requirements and reflect them in structural design
    -Experience in design and analysis of forged aluminum parts (e.g. lower arm)
  • Preferred
    Experience in underbody design
    - Knowledge and development experience in vehicle weight reduction
    - CAE analysis (crash, stiffness, durability) skills
    - Experience negotiating with overseas departments and suppliers (English proficiency a plus)
