- Responsibilities
- ・As a team leader, you will lead the development, design, and verification of AOCS (Attitude and Orbit Control System) and GNC (Navigation, Guidance, and Control) for spacecraft.
・Support system-level design from the GNC perspective. : Examples include the creation of mission CONOPS (Concept of Operations), the definition of processes, design, and system testing and verification plans for FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis), and FDIR (Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery).
・Development of control rules and algorithms: Design, analyze, and verify RPO (rendezvous and proximity operations) and docking scenarios through simulation.
・Trade-off hardware configurations that realize GNC's functional performance and determine the overall architecture.
・Trade-off software configurations that realize GNC's functional performance and determine the overall architecture.
・Collaborate with procurement engineers to make trade-offs and select GNC devices to procure.
・Mentor young engineers on the GNC team and advise team members.

- Requirements
- ・As an engineer of AOCS or GNC systems, you must have more than 5 years of practical experience in designing, analyzing, and conducting tests of actual spacecraft missions.
・Experience in developing control laws and algorithms. : Experience using GNC design and simulation software such as MATLAB, and practical application of conditions such as nonlinearity, signal noise, and tuning into control laws. Application of algorithms to embedded software.
・Experience in hardware and software trade-offs in GNC configuration design.
・Possess TOEIC700 or higher English proficiency.
・Possess business-level Japanese proficiency.

・Experience in implementing RPO and docking algorithms or design analysis.
・Experience involved in satellite orbital operations.
・Experience
in advanced control law design such as nonlinear and optimization ・Knowledge
of trade-offs, procurement, and data processing of GNC sensors (visible and infrared cameras, LiDAR, etc.) ・Understanding of GNC design from a safety perspective: passive safety tracks, software equipped with hazard avoidance, interaction with operators and ground systems including automation and autonomy, abot maneuvers, collision avoidance maneuvers, etc
. ・Knowledge
of space missions related to debris removal and RPO (HTV, ETS-7, etc.) Desirable:
・Over 10 years of practical experience designing, analyzing, and conducting tests for actual spacecraft missions as an engineer of AOCS or GNC systems.
・Experience in implementing RPO and docking algorithms or design analysis.
