You are responsible for quality control of switch products for automotive interiors.
Job Description
-
- Responsibilities
- -Process control of new product development steps and manufacturing
-Internal audits and on-site guidance
-Product review
-Evaluation/approval of new parts and materials for new products
-Failure analysis of existing products
-Progress reports to customers
Ensure 4M matrix respect with regards product or process changes and ensure customer awareness and approval of changes in accordance with the 4M matrix
Ensure CIP is respected and especially Build In Quality Standards : SPPC tracking sheet is used ? SPPC identification procedure is respected ? SPPC transfer to Supplier thru the VRFs
・Verify LLCs have been used and respected
・Update the quality documents following a product / process related Verify with Purchasing the progress of Suppliers vs. project time-line and collect suppliers encountered issues and alternative proposals made by the suppliers

・Participate to Design review including suppliers design review
・Support activities defined for Internal and External Supplier parts, to support Purchasing and S Support activities defined for Internal and External Supplier parts, to support Purchasing and SQA team, as defined in the Quality Rasic
For P0 Major - Prepare PVC ensuring readiness of all the deliverables required by the PVC. Make sure that for each item requiring a decision from the PVC all the data needed are available
For P0 Minor -prepare change management committee ensuring readiness of all the deliverables required by the committee
Participate to the pre-FDPR and FDPR - collect encountered issues and open corresponding Project QRQCs
Prepare the internal Initial Sample file to be validated by the Site Quality Manager prior presenting the Initial Sample file to the Customer for sign off
Participate to the project QRQC and complete the assignments out of QRQC meeting on time
Collect all the issues on a weekly basis to build the single list of issues
Update the project quality tracking charts : Convergence graph ...
Along the Project QRQC meeting ensure that rules are respected and Stop at first disagree and Stop at first no are applied
Perform the revision of the control plan after an issue and/or after test results
Initiate QRQCs in the case of DV or PV test failures

- Requirements
- ▪ Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
▪ 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing engineering.
-Understanding of general requirements of quality system standards such as ISO TS16949.
-Language skills: written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese.
-Responsible, results-oriented, self-motivated and proactive attitude.
Basic knowledge of statistical methods and process control techniques.
Ability to use software applications related to quality assurance activities.
Bachelor degree or higher education in engineering field.
・At least 5 years experience in quality assurance or manufacturing engineering field.
Understand the general requirement for quality system standards such as ISO TS16949.
・Strong sense of responsibility, results-oriented, self Strong sense of responsibility, results-oriented, self- motivated and proactive attitude.
・Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and Japanese.
・Basic knowledge of statistical methods and process control techniques.
