As an insight analyst, you will grasp changes in society, the environment, and technology from multiple perspectives, formulate hypotheses, design surveys, conduct actual research, extract insights, and report the research results, providing statistical support and verbalizing insights. You will also contribute to the creation of new business, product, and service concepts.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    We take a multifaceted view of social, environmental, and technological changes, formulate hypotheses, design surveys, conduct actual research, extract insights, and disseminate research results as reports and proposals to society.
    We then disseminate the research results as a report/recommendations to society. Designing a story that leads to action.
    Create concepts for new businesses, products, and services based on the analysis results to address water issues and related social issues.


    Qualitative insights (depth interviews, etc.) into domestic and international water issues (water scarcity, water pollution, water financial crisis, disaster water stress, etc.), quantitative visualization of the structure and scale of the issues, and report dissemination (e.g. social reports, infographics, proposal materials, etc.).
    ・Internal Work with management, business, and product development teams to drive company-wide strategy stories and new project initiatives
    ・Participate as a data expert in business innovation initiatives (e.g., developing a database of water issues on the global stage, open technology strategies, etc.)
  • Requirements
    Qualitative research skills (depth interviews, ethnography, etc.) to ask questions from the user/society's perspective and deeply decipher behaviors and structures
    - Quantitative research skills such as quantitative survey design, actual survey, statistical processing, causal inference
    - Logical and structuring skills to draw essential insights (insights) from data
    - Survey and Execution skills to express analytical results as a story and move others (presentation, writing, data visualization)
  • Preferred
    Knowledge of ergonomics, social psychology, cultural anthropology, etc.
    ・Work experience in marketing, business planning, etc.
    ・Work experience in social reporting and public policy
    ・Experience using data analysis tools (R / Python / SPSS / Tableau, etc.)
    ・Literature reading and reporting skills in English
