Quality Assurance Leader

We are a mobility-related startup aiming for mass production and social implementation of ultra-compact EVs "one-seater, moped mini-car category. We are promoting a business that redefines "mobility options" by taking on the challenge of minimizing mobility issues and environmental impact in rural areas and building an integrated system from design and manufacturing to sales, after-sales support, and CRM, with mass production scheduled to begin in October 2025.

This role is to design a quality assurance system from scratch at the "initial stage of mass production" and lead the construction and operation of the system. We not only perform inspections, but also "systematize quality" and realize a "reproducible and stable supply". You will work across the board from design, manufacturing, procurement, and customer support to shape the quality foundation of manufacturing.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - In-house production and KPI management
    of quality improvement cycle (identification of trends→ prioritization → improvement) - Preparation and implementation
    of supplier audit design and quality contract flow - Establishment of quality assurance team structure (development of training design, standardization, and onboarding system)

    *Within 3 months of joining the company (initial mission)
    - Design and maintenance of quality assurance system for mass production (inspection standards, system, division of roles)
    - IPQC (in-process quality control), confirmation of incoming and shipping inspection items and creation
    of the first version of check sheets - Establishment of initial defect response flow (defect report/corrective response template/primary response rule)
    - Establishment of risk assessment and monitoring points
    by simple FMEA for each product and part - Implementation of inspection trials and improvement cycles

    for initial products *Expected results
    within 6 months of joining the company - Establishment of a state where quality control is "functioning" at the manufacturing site (recording → judgment → Feedback establishment)
    - Defect response flow is operated both internally and externally (including suppliers) Contributing
    to the reduction of initial defects - Creation of a system for quality recording and reporting operations that do not depend on individuals (operation of Slack/Notion templates, etc.)
  • Requirements
    ・Practical experience in quality assurance or quality control of mass-produced products (3 years or more)
    - In-house manufacturing, OEM, and EMS are all acceptable. Experience in process quality, inspection, and defect response
    ・Experience in cross-sectional quality collaboration
    with manufacturing sites, design, and procurement departments - Experience in leading improvements
    in collaboration with other departments without quality assurance working alone ・Understanding of basic quality control methods (e.g., FMEA, QC seven tools, etc.)
    - Possess a foundation in quality assurance and structural thinking in analyzing the cause of defects and preventing recurrence
