You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing dealer sales and aftersales activities in your territory, and supporting dealer performance through business planning, consulting, and sales skill training.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Field Manager

    Manage vehicle inventories within assigned territory to balance car allocation, outlet profitability, and market penetration.
    Plan and execute daily and long-term objectives efficiently.
    Counsel and assist dealers in creating plans for personnel development, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
    Guide dealers to improve sales activities and compliance with dealer standards.
    Monitor sales volume, facility adequacy, consumer relations, and marketing efforts.
    Analyze and interpret dealer financial statements to enhance operations.
    Support dealers in building effective organizations.
    Share dealer performance status, developments, and trends with relevant divisions.
    Provide value-added operational input through reports, analysis, and observation.
    Manage the match-fund budget.
    Support network development activities.
    Prepare materials for Weekly Sales Operation Meetings and Quarterly Dealer Performance Meetings.
    Conduct monthly branch manager meetings and dealer events.

    Dealer Sales Training (ICE & BEV)

    Develop dealer sales training strategy (sales skills & product training) and mid-term implementation plans.
    Improve sales productivity across the dealer network.
    Enhance customer experience and increase CS scores.
    Conduct CS training for sales staff and branch managers.
    Collaborate with product managers to increase sales productivity.
    Coordinate sales skill training with subcontractors.
    Conduct product training sessions with product managers.
    Manage training budget effectively.

    Others

    Analyze dealer performance (ICE & BEV).
    Monitor dealer sales performance using reporting systems and provide weekly updates.
    Monitor and report on sales process systems and CRM system performance.
    Track and report sales-related data.
    Summarize and analyze annual dealer award data.
    Summarize and analyze monthly dealer standard assessments with field managers.
    Summarize and analyze dealer business (P/L) situation.
    Create and report dealer performance and standards reports (e.g., using internal performance metrics and standards.
    Collaborate with NWD Manager and Sales Field Manager.
    Develop 5-year dealer business plans aligned with dealer network strategy.
  • Requirements
    Native Japanese, Conversational English
    ・ Valid driver's license.
    Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Sales Planning and/or Network Development.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Access is a plus).
    Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Strong team player with collaborative mindset.
    Over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
    Proven track record as a Field Manager and/or Sales Trainer at an importer or 5+ years of experience in Sales Planning and/or Network Development, ideally at a Japanese automotive manufacturer or importer.     Solid background in Sales and Marketing within the automotive sector.
