You will be engaged in understanding global aftermarket demand, setting up products for a wide variety of vehicle types, and launching products in the market as early as possible.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Product Planning
    Selection study of target vehicle models based on global country and market demand
    Work with product development (domestic and international R&D) teams to promote product development plans.
    Price quotation for new models, coordination with other departments and factories, clerical work
    Sales support as a starting point for various projects and marketing operations
    Development and planning of new products
    Product Portfolio
    Analyze product demand, including multi-brand, and work on consolidation/standardization
    Cost and profitability management of newly developed products
    Product Lifecycle (EOL) management in collaboration with OES sales team/other departments/aftermarket regions
    Promotion] *Collaborate with marketing team
    Support marketing strategies and promotional activities
    Support for production of sales promotion tools
    Travel and sales promotion support for auto parts exhibitions in various countries
    Data management] *Collaborate with data team
    OEM/OES/IAM control chart management
    Coordinate catalog proofreading and publication in cooperation with regional and data management
  • Requirements
    Experience in overseas sales, product development, and planning projects (approx. 3 years or more)
    ・Language skills (native level Japanese, business level English - able to converse on the phone and in team meetings)
    ・Highly motivated, responsible, and able to carry out tasks in cooperation with related parties in Japan and abroad.
  • Preferred
    ・Experience in sales and product planning in the automotive industry (trading company, parts manufacturer)
    ・Experience in the aftermarket industry
