As a category buyer for IT infrastructure hardware/software, IT consulting, etc., you will participate in the formulation of procurement strategies and sourcing activities. This role is to respond to internal needs and conclude contracts while coordinating with internal and external organizations. In the future, this is a position to lead team members.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Buyer operations such as price negotiation, order processing, and delivery management
・Build, manage, and evaluate relationships with existing suppliers in ongoing business situations
・Develop procurement strategies for categories
・Collaborate with internal stakeholders on supplier sourcing activities

■ Immediately after joining
Depending on your experience, you will gradually take over the work of employees in your category, starting with what is possible. You will gradually take over the work of employees, starting from the extent to which you are able in the categories you are responsible for, depending on your experience.
You will be mainly engaged in supplier sourcing, contracting, and order placement.
After 3 to 5 months with the company, we expect you to be able to handle internal projects on your own.

After 6 months to 1 year of employment
, you will compile data and reports to be submitted to your supervisor and internal meetings regarding project matters. After a few years, as a manager, you will also be responsible for team building, project leadership and overall progress management.
Requirements

Proficiency in Japanese (Native or N1 level), English (TOEIC score 700 or above, business experience)
・Proficiency in Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
・Fluent in coordination, communication and negotiation with internal and external parties Ability to coordinate, communicate, and negotiate both internally and externally.
Preferred

-Practical experience in indirect purchasing, especially IT purchasing (information systems, hardware and software, IT consulting, etc.).
-Practical experience in reviewing and concluding IT-related contracts.
-Able to negotiate with external parties and generate benefits.
