In developing an AI data platform for the global manufacturing industry, we have been working to address cross-cutting issues such as security issues unique to the manufacturing industry, governance issues related to personal and non-personal data contained in industrial data, and AI regulatory issues, by providing DFFT (Data Free Flow The position will be responsible for developing a solution that is holistically optimal from the perspective of DFFT (Data Free Flow with Trust: trustworthy and free distribution of data). In this position, you will be responsible for understanding new legal areas related to unexplored businesses that cannot be captured by existing laws and regulations, improving mechanisms in a discontinuous manner, and incorporating them into contractual practices and governance operations.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Contract legal affairs (draft/review of various domestic and overseas contracts)
    ・Legal consultation (domestic and overseas legal system research)
    ・Organizational legal affairs (board of directors and general shareholders meetings)
    ・Launch support for new businesses/new services
    ・Compliance (personal information protection law, security trade related laws, telecommunications business law, AI related laws, etc.)
    Establishment/operation of corporate governance/internal control/risk management systems
    ・Drafting/review of internal rules
    ・Compliance education for employees
    ・Response to administrative agencies (various notifications, etc.)
    ・Response to litigation, claims, administrative investigations, etc.
  • Requirements
    At least 2-3 years of legal work experience in a corporate or law firm setting
  • Preferred

    Experience in the IT and SaaS industry
    ・Experience in contract negotiation and customer negotiation in the manufacturing industry
    ・Business level English skills (experience using English in business, such as reviewing contracts)
