You will be responsible for new development and circuit design of battery systems with lithium-ion batteries used in areas such as storage batteries and backup power supplies.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Discussions with customers regarding specifications: Propose systems that solve customer requirements, establish product specifications and prices, and incorporate these into design specifications.
    Design and development: Circuit and power supply design of battery systems. Design and development: Circuit and power supply design of battery systems, selection of components with a view to platformization, and construction of safety protection circuits in conjunction with software.
    Mass production: Prototyping, evaluation, identification of design defects and manufacturing defects, improvement design, and mass production launch in cooperation with related departments.
    Environmental construction: Improvement of development processes and mechanisms to increase development efficiency and accumulate design know-how, and improvement activities in cooperation with the IT and quality departments.
    Elemental technology development: Development of next-generation elemental technologies to meet the evolving and diversifying needs of battery chemistry.
  • Requirements
    The candidate must possess various expertise in analog circuit design.
    Experience in analog circuit design in practice and mass production development. (Guideline: 3 years or more)
  • Preferred
    Experience in circuit (hardware) design of Li-ion packs
    ・Experience in power electronics design
    ・Experience of more than 5 years and can take a leadership role in model development
    ・Knowledge of standards such as safety standards and environmental compliance
    ・English communication skills
