You will be responsible for leading product design related to space optical communication ground application hardware, coordinating with domestic and international customers, and developing NPI plans.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Product design for space optical communication hardware for terrestrial applications
    ・Production prototype management and quality assurance systems in collaboration with contract manufacturing partners, and development of evaluation test plans
    ・Driving continuous product improvement through supply chain management, cost optimization, and defect handling
  • Requirements
    Experience in product commercialization and new product introduction (NPI) of electronic devices
    ・Practical experience in production start-up in collaboration with external manufacturing partners (verification of DFM/DFT, process and fixture design, establishment of QA system during production, promotion of yield improvement, etc.)
    ・Skills in incorporating required specifications into product specifications and inspection standards, and accurately managing technical documents such as BOMs, drawings, test reports, ECR/ECO, etc.
    Knowledge of planning, evaluation, and pass/fail judgment for EMC, environmental, reliability, wireless, etc. conformance tests to various countries and standards
    ・Project management skills
  • Preferred
    Experience in technical negotiation and communication in English with overseas contract manufacturers and component suppliers
    ・Basic knowledge of baseband signal processing and FPGAs (understanding of modulation/demodulation, FEC, high-speed interfaces, etc. and ability to conduct design reviews)
    ・Ready start-up of mass production of industrial communication equipment, etc. Experience in mass production start-up of industrial communication equipment, etc., and experience in promoting projects to obtain certification for various standards such as EMC, safety, wireless, etc.
    ・High level of expertise in FPGA, ASIC, analog circuit, or power design, and experience in cooperative operation with Linux/ARM-based systems
    ・Knowledge of environmental requirements in areas requiring high reliability, such as space and aviation, and practical experience in reliability evaluation Knowledge of environmental requirements and practical knowledge of reliability evaluation in areas where high reliability is required, such as space and aviation

    ■Personality Requirements
    - Minimum 10 years of experience as a system engineer
