To promote the use of the demonstration and recovery platform in low Earth orbit, this position is responsible for developing researchers who will conduct life science-related experiments and demonstrations in space and coordinating technical interfaces. In particular, communication with researchers and engineers in fields such as drug discovery and regenerative medicine, where space environment utilization is expected.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Research and analysis of needs for space utilization in life science R&D
    - Development of potential end-user research institutes and experimental equipment developers and solution proposals
    - Mission study for experimental demonstration and coordination of technical interface with research institutes and equipment developers
    - Technical interface coordination with satellite development team - Preparation and management of technical documents such as interface control documents (ICDs) Interface coordination with satellite development teams
    ・Preparation and management of technical documents such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Requirements
    ・Basic knowledge of life sciences
    *especially in the field of drug discovery and regenerative medicine. Basic communication with researchers and engineers who will be the end users of experimental demonstrations.
    -English proficiency: experience working with business English
    -Interest in the space industry and space business
  • Preferred
    ・Master's degree or PhD in life sciences
    ・Work experience in a life sciences company or research institution (approx. 2-3 years or more)
    ・Experience in participating in experimental demonstration projects in life sciences (not limited to space experiments)
    ・Experience in integration work in space experiments
