In the automotive parts industry, it is one of the largest companies in Japan in the thermal systems, mobility systems, power train systems, electrification systems, and electronic systems businesses.
We are currently focusing on four areas [electrification, connected systems, advanced safety/automated driving, and non-vehicle businesses (FA/agriculture)].
You will be engaged in planning (1) in-vehicle SoCs that support autonomous driving systems and in-vehicle connected services with world-class safety and convenience, and (2) preparing important IP solutions.
Job Description

- Responsibilities
- 1) In-vehicle SoC planning: Define specifications for next-generation SoC in collaboration with Toyota, Denso, and other Toyota Group companies
- Analyze issues with current SoC, embedded software, and development tools, and study countermeasures
- Assume future vehicle needs and incorporate into SoC requirements
- Survey and benchmark SoC of other companies
- Develop specifications for next-generation SoC (Definition of hardware/software requirements)
・Specification proposal and liaison to international standards bodies
2) Targeting critical IP: Targeting IP that will play an important role in automated driving and connected services
・Examples of critical IP: NPU, GPU, CPU, DSP, ISP, Interconnect, DDR, Security, Chiplet IP, etc. Critical IP examples: NPU, GPU, CPU, DSP, ISP, Interconnect, DDR, Security, Chiplet IP, etc.
・IP search, research, and benchmarking
・IP specification definition
・Representation and negotiation with IP vendors
・Planning of IP that meets the requirements

- Requirements
- ・Practical experience in SoC application technology and as a Field Application Engineer (FAE)
・Practical experience in SoC architecture design, evaluation, and mass production
・Experience in embedded software development and SoC implementation
・Experience in the planning, development, and evaluation of IP such as processors, interconnects, memory, security, and high-speed I/O
・Experience participating in international standards organizations related to SoC and IP

collaboration systems with SoC and IP vendors ・English proficiency (TOEIC600 points or higher)
