You will be in charge of software development for in-vehicle infotainment devices, which are becoming increasingly large scale due to their multi-functionality and integration. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Depending on your experience, skills and aptitude, you will be responsible for one of the following tasks.
    (1) General Manager, SPM (Sub-Program Manager)
    - As a representative of customer relations, responsible for defining and promoting the work interface with customers, mainly in terms of specification development, towards internal. Coordinates the resolution of issues under promotion and customer coordination as a representative of the SE profession.
    ・Ordination of all technical work, mainly in the promotion of orders and development of large-scale development products.
    (2) Development Leader
    ・Reporting to the roles of income/expenses and program lifecycle management played by PM (Program Manager) and SPM, who comprehensively manage "development, delivery, quality, and cost" as the core personnel for project promotion, he/she is in charge of promoting development practices.

    Lead multiple SEs responsible for customer relations, specification development, and project issue resolution, and promote specification development and issue resolution for all products.
    Leads in the practical promotion of functional development and process establishment for specific blocks, utilizing expertise and experience.
     Shared the role of development leader in a large-scale development project involving several hundred people or more.
  • Requirements
    1) General Manager, SPM (Sub-Project Manager)
    ・Planning and promotion of overall product specifications from scratch with OEM customers, and negotiation skills
    ・Take a leading role in a series of technical department activities including RFQ - development - post-launch market response
    ・Order receipt of large-scale development products and lead overall technical operations in development promotion ・Experienced in actual product development and familiar with overall development process 2) Development Leader Able to take a leadership role in a series of technical department activities including RFQ - development - post-launch market response
    ・Experienced in actual product development and familiar with overall development process
    ②Development Leader
    ・Experienced in overall product development projects and skilled in overall development planning, promotion and problem solving
    ③SE Leader / Development Sub-leader
    ・Establishment of overall product specifications Ability, problem-solving skills, and English language skills
  • Preferred
    Embedded software development OR Experience dealing with car OEMs, 10+ years of automotive related work experience
    ・Experience in identifying quality issues by conducting true cause analysis (5-way, why-why analysis, etc.)
    ・Experience of being transferred to a car manufacturer
    ・Experience in large-scale software development (100+ people)
    ・Experience in developing software for customers Experience in coordinating specifications with customers and other companies (working groups, etc.)
