Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Lead Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance for assigned production groups by setting targets, implementing action plans, and monitoring daily results.
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives by coordinating with production supervisors, shift teams, and support functions to ensure transparent Drive continuous improvement initiatives by coordinating with production supervisors, shift teams, and support functions to ensure transparent communication and effective execution.
    Manage and improve team performance through problem-solving activities, teamwork promotion, and workshops on quality and productivity methods (e.g., 5S, TPM, 6M). 5S, TPM, 6M).
    Oversee daily personnel management, including headcount control, adherence to standardized work, and on-floor support to address issues promptly.
    Develop team members through onboarding, training planning, performance evaluations, and individual development initiatives.
    Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, intervening in production activities when safety risks arise and driving Improvements in working conditions and ergonomics.
  • Requirements
    Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in production or manufacturing.
    Business-level
    Basic English communication skills (desirable).
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or Business-level to fluent Japanese communication skills. Basic English communication skills (desirable).
  • Preferred
    Prior experience leading production teams or autonomous work groups.
    Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
