Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    -Develop and design missions and spacecraft operations identifying and defining key requirements.
    -Simulate, analyze, and optimize mission operations and orbital maneuvers.
    -Conduct trade studies to evaluate operational performance and optimize mission planning to meet key goals.
    -Develop and enhance key software used for mission planning and execution.
    -Oversee real-time operations of spacecraft missions and post-mission reviews.
    -Keep up to date in a quickly evolving industry and stay ahead of the industry by working with an international team of space industry veterans.
  • Requirements
    -Native Japanese with intermediate or stronger English ability.
    -2 years of experience related to mission design and analysis or spacecraft flight dynamics.
    -Strong knowledge of space specific mechanics such as proximity operations, docking, orbital mechanics, or SSA.
    -Some experience using space operations related software such as STK or GMAT.
    -Some knowledge of programming languages and tools such as Python, C language, or Matlab.
  • Preferred
    -Strong knowledge of programming languages and software.
    -Strong experience communicating with international teams using English.
    -Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and experience communicating across subsystem teams.
