This company is a global automotive technology supplier specializing in advanced sensing systems, electrification, and intelligent mobility solutions.
The company operates internationally with strong R&D capabilities and collaborates with major OEMs to develop next-generation safety and in-cabin technologies.

Based in the Tokyo R&D center within the Driving Automation / Compute organization, in this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the automated toolchain supporting the full software development lifecycle for automotive embedded systems.

You will work closely with both local and global teams to modernize CI/CD infrastructure, optimize cloud-native environments, and improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability for next-generation autonomous driving technologies.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    CI/CD & Automation・Design
    , implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and related tools
    ・Support build, test, and deployment automation for embedded automotive software
    ・Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash
    ・Integrate automated testing and code analysis into development workflows

    Infrastructure & Cloud Environment
    ・Manage scalable development and simulation environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    ・Support modernization of existing infrastructure using AWS cloud-native technologies
    ・Manage containerized environments using Docker and related technologies

    Compliance & Quality
    ・Ensure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure comply with automotive standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262
    ・Support cybersecurity best practices within development environments
    ・Establish monitoring, logging, and alert systems to improve reliability and operational stability

    Global Collaboration・Work
    closely with global CI and software development teams
    ・Support local software engineers and system integrators
    ・Align local infrastructure and processes with global development standards
  • Requirements
    ・5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
    ・Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines from scratch
    ・Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
    ・Strong scripting skills using Python and/or Bash
    ・Strong knowledge of Git and version control systems
    ・Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies
    ・Business-level English communication skills
    ・Ability to work in a global engineering environment
  • Preferred
    ・Automotive or embedded systems industry experience
    ・Experience supporting large-scale or high-availability systems
    ・AWS/cloud migration experience
    ・Understanding of automotive standards such as ASPICE or ISO 26262
