Their products enable fast, secure, and reliable data flow for modern vehicles, including systems used in ADAS, cameras, sensors, infotainment, autonomous driving, and connected‑car platforms.

In this role, you will serve as the primary technical interface between automotive customers and internal engineering teams, translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.

Working closely with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams, you will provide technical consulting, define product specifications, support new business acquisition, and ensure customer requirements remain aligned with engineering capabilities and manufacturing standards.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Customer Technical Interface
    ・Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customers.
    ・Represent customer technical concerns and requirements within the organization.
    ・Build and maintain long-term technical relationships with customers.
    ・Develop a deep understanding of customer technology roadmaps and future requirements.

    Technical Consulting & Application Engineering
    ・Evaluate technical customer inquiries and requirements.
    ・Recommend technically feasible solutions that satisfy both customer needs and internal engineering standards.
    ・Define technical specifications and application requirements.
    ・Provide technical consulting throughout the project lifecycle.

    Project Coordination
    ・Represent the customer's technical perspective during development projects and production launches.
    ・Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
    ・Ensure customer expectations remain aligned with technical capabilities.

    Sales & Business Development Support
    ・Support the sales team during new business acquisition.
    ・Participate in technical discussions and customer meetings.
    ・Provide ongoing technical support throughout the customer relationship.

    Product & Process Support
    ・Apply product and application engineering knowledge to develop robust and manufacturable solutions.
    ・Ensure technical solutions comply with automotive development processes and manufacturing requirements.
  • Requirements
    ・Technical college diploma or comparable technical degree.
    ・3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical engineering role.
    ・Automotive industry experience preferred.
    ・Knowledge of Application engineering, automotive development processes, automotive quality standards
    ・Experience using SAP.
    ・CAD knowledge for technical discussions.
    ・MS Office proficiency.
    ・Business-level English.
    ・Fluent Japanese.
  • Preferred
    ・Experience supporting automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
    ・Experience working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.
    ・Technical consulting or customer application engineering experience.
