You will participate in trade-related system construction projects and be responsible for project progress management as a PMO. This position involves providing trade and transaction design consulting and optimal business process solutions for export transactions from production bases to overseas sales companies and customers, or import transactions from overseas production bases to Japan.
Based on advanced trade logistics know-how, it is expected that, in principle, it will be able to independently identify current issues, formulate concrete solutions, implement them, and implement them in related departments.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ■ Participate in ongoing trade-related system construction projects, collaborate with the in-house IT department to build systems, design business processes and IT specifications ~ Implementation *Lead business division responsible
    for project proposal formulation (concept, schedule, promotion structure, etc.), cost-effectiveness calculation investment budget securing, and project progress management
    as PMO ・Identifying current issues, defining business use cases, reviewing IT specifications, building business processes, thoroughly implementing new business operations, conducting user testing, implementing and following

    up after implementation ■ Modernizing IT specifications in response to changes in the trade environment of existing trade-related systems and business processes, and proposing
    solutions for process improvement aimed at further operational efficiency and standardization ・Participate in regular "system operation meetings" with the IT department, identify on-site issues and improvement themes, decide whether to respond to IT revisions, coordinate and promote

    development response schedules ■ Responsible for either export or import transactions, propose optimal trade transaction terms and business processes to consultations for new business starts from business sites,
    consulting services based on the trade environment in target countries Support the launch
    of new transactions from various perspectives such as internal accounting rules, IT infrastructure utilization, and logistics. We design export and import business processes
    with trade operation contractors (Kintetsu Trading Service Co., Ltd.) and overseas trade logistics hubs, collaborate with related departments, and consider group-wide contract freight rates and insurance coverage, as well as optimal transportation routes.
  • Requirements
    ・Over 5 years of experience in logistics and business reform in manufacturers or the logistics industry, or leadership
    experience in domestic or overseas business departments ・English proficiency (about TOEIC600 points, or able to communicate daily in English for online meetings and other English sessions)
    ・Experience participating in IT construction projects, business reform projects, or PMO
    ・Knowledge of data analysis and statistics using Excel and PowerBI, presentation materials using PowerPoint

English is mainly used text-based, and translation tools are also available. This position requires practical experience and proactive driving ability to establish international logistics functions.
