As a Regional Product Support Engineer, you will serve as the technical escalation expert for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment, providing high-level support for complex hardware, process, and system-related issues across customer sites. You will work closely with field service engineers, account teams, customers, and global product engineering groups to diagnose challenging equipment problems, drive root cause investigations, and implement effective solutions that improve tool performance, productivity, and reliability. In this role, you will lead escalation management activities, conduct data analysis and problem-solving initiatives, support alpha and beta tool installations, and contribute to continuous product improvements by providing field feedback to engineering teams.

- Responsibilities
- - Provide advanced technical support and lead resolution of complex semiconductor equipment hardware, process, and system escalations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using structured problem-solving methodologies, data analysis, and root cause investigation techniques.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, account teams, and product engineering groups during critical equipment escalations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive productivity improvements, equipment reliability enhancements, and corrective action implementation.
- Support the installation, qualification, and field deployment of alpha, beta, and newly released semiconductor systems.
- Partner with product engineering teams to identify design improvements and communicate customer and field requirements for future product enhancements.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to field service and account team engineers to strengthen troubleshooting capabilities and prevent escalations.
- Utilize knowledge management systems to resolve technical issues and proactively share best practices and lessons learned across the global organization.

- Requirements
- - Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment, preferably in Etch, Deposition, Clean, or related process technologies.
- Ability to communicate in Business Japanese, conversational English.
