This position is a Mechanical Lead Engineer leading the development of sensors such as radar and cameras in the ADAS field, as well as ECUs (ADCUs).
You will be responsible for the entire mechanical development process, from requirements definition to machine design, prototyping, evaluation, and mass production.
In addition to structural, thermal, and enclosure design, you will lead a wide range of product development, including solving technical challenges and making decisions, negotiating technical negotiations with customers and suppliers, and collaborating with in-house teams in areas such as electrical, software, production technology, and quality.

- Responsibilities
- Development of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Sensors (Radar, Camera) and ECU (ADCU)
Manage end-to-end ME development processes: requirements, design, prototyping, validation, and production
Interface with suppliers and customer on technical matters
Own mechanical design deliverables, including structural, thermal, and enclosure designs
Identify technical risks and lead problem-solving efforts to resolve complex engineering challenges
Drive technical decision-making throughout the product development lifecycle
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing, quality, etc.) to ensure system-level integration
of sensors (radar, Camera) and ECU (ADCU) development
: Managing
the entire mechanical design (ME) development process, from requirements definition, design, prototyping, evaluation, to mass production. Acting
as a point of contact with suppliers and customers regarding technical matters. Responsible
for mechanical design deliverables including structural, thermal, and housing design. Identifying technical risks. Lead
the resolution of complex engineering challenges, drive
technical decision-making throughout the product development lifecycle, and collaborate with relevant departments such as electrical, software, production technology, and quality assurance to achieve system-level integration.

- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
in mechanical engineering or related fields. Over 5
years of practical experience in mechanical design and product development. Basic knowledge
of mechanical engineering. Experience
using 3D CAD tools (such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo). Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering (structural mechanics, materials engineering, thermodynamics, resin forming, press processing, plating, die-casting, machining). etc.)
Business-level English and native-level Japanese proficiency

as a technical leader or lead engineer, excellent problem-solving and communication skills
, experience
in industries such as automotive, robotics, consumer devices, and medical devices, practical experience
with CAE tools (FEA, CFD, etc.), knowledge
of design methodologies (FMEA, DRBFM, FTA, etc.) Experience working in global teams or multicultural environments
