The company operates internationally with strong R&D capabilities and collaborates with major OEMs to develop next-generation safety and in-cabin technologies.

In this role, you will support the IT infrastructure that keeps a large automotive manufacturing site running.

Acting as the bridge between IT and the production floor, you will maintain factory networks, PCs, servers, and production IT systems while supporting new-line launches and digitalization projects involving MES, AGVs, WMS, traceability, cybersecurity, and smart-factory technologies.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Factory IT & Infrastructure
    ・Operate and maintain factory networks, Windows environments, servers, production PCs, and related IT infrastructure.
    ・Support stable operation of production-line IT systems and manufacturing applications.
    ・Manage IT assets, PCs, licenses, backup, and monitoring environments.
    ・Support industrial cybersecurity and IT security requirements.

    Factory DX & New Production Lines
    ・Support IT infrastructure design and setup for new production lines.
    ・Participate in implementation of MES, AGV, WMS, traceability, and other smart-factory systems.
    ・Coordinate with engineering teams, equipment manufacturers, and IT vendors.
    ・Support connectivity and integration between production equipment and factory IT systems.

    Troubleshooting & Technical Support
    ・Respond directly to IT issues occurring on the production floor.
    ・Troubleshoot network, PC, server, and system-related problems.
    ・Coordinate technical escalation with regional and overseas IT teams.
    ・Provide hands-on onsite support across the manufacturing facility.

    Continuous Improvement
    ・Identify and implement improvements to factory IT infrastructure.
    ・Improve backup, monitoring, reliability, and operational processes.
    ・Support digital-transformation initiatives.
    ・Explore practical use of AI and other new technologies within manufacturing operations.
  • Requirements
    ・Approximately 2–3+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
    ・Experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Internal IT Engineer, Corporate IT Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or similar.
    ・Practical knowledge of Networks, Windows environments, Servers, & General IT infrastructure
    ・Basic knowledge or awareness of IT security / cybersecurity.
    ・Ability to respond to issues directly onsite and move around a large manufacturing facility.
    ・Business-level Japanese
    ・Conversational English: Comfortable handling email, reporting, and technical-support communication with overseas teams.
  • Preferred
    ・Factory IT, manufacturing-industry experience, MES, OT, and programming are not mandatory.
    ・Candidates with approximately 2–3 years of infrastructure experience who want to move into Factory IT are also encouraged.
