With the advent of the SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) era, cars are evolving into products that continue to evolve around software. Along with this, electronic systems and software installed in vehicles are becoming increasingly sophisticated and complex, and the importance of communication network architecture, electronic system design, and fault diagnosis technologies supporting them has risen dramatically. Additionally, there is a growing need for technology development that covers everything from vehicle development to production and market service. To further accelerate the development of next-generation electronic architectures and diagnostic technologies that support vehicle manufacturing in the SDV era, we are seeking partners who can join us in creating new value.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ■ Assigned Organization Development Areas and Work Overview
    This position is responsible for developing the "manufacturing process" and "fault diagnosis technology" that support electronic system development, production, and diagnostics in the SDV era. We promote technology development throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle, from planning and development of new models to mass production, production inspection, and post-market diagnostics. With an eye on everything from vehicle development through mass production, production inspection, and market fault diagnosis, we build a system that ensures electronic systems are properly manufactured, operate correctly, and can be used safely for long periods.
    Additionally, through the development of next-generation communication technologies and electronic architectures, we play a role in supporting safer and higher-quality vehicle manufacturing. Looking ahead, we will promote the introduction of next-generation diagnostic technologies such as SOVD (Service Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics), leading the advancement and automation of vehicle diagnostics.
    ■Specific Job Responsibilities

    Teams are organized into the following phases: ① through ③. Immediately upon joining the company, you will be assigned to a team based on your individual skills, preferences, and the areas you wish to explore.

    (1) Development Phase
    ・Planning and design of next-generation electronic architectures
    ・Building and improving electronic system development processes
    ・Development of technologies to improve quality assurance and reliability of electronic systems
    (2) Production Phase
    ・Designing software writing processes in factories
    ・Development of electronic system inspection and quality confirmation technologies in production processes
    ・Creating systems for inspection automation and efficiency improvement
    (3) Market Phase
    ・Development of fault diagnosis systems and diagnostic tools
    ・Building next-generation vehicle diagnostic environments utilizing SOVD
    ・Technology development aimed at automating fault diagnosis (fault diagnosis machines used by Nissan dealers)
    ・Development of vehicle health monitoring technology utilizing connected technologies
    ※ Tools used: CANalyze, CANoe, Protocol analyzer, Harnes CAD, JIRA, Python
    ※Communications: CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet
  • Requirements
    (1) Must possess
    one of the following knowledge or experience ・Embedded software development
    ・Embedded software evaluation/debugging experience ・Experience in electronic systems
    and electronic component development ・Evaluation/experimental experience
    of electronic components ・Knowledge
    of electronic architecture design ・Experience in electrical design, circuit design, or control design ・Experience in electronic component production
