We are in a position that leads the design and development of the architecture of in-vehicle cockpit platforms that support next-generation Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs).
You will be involved in the core development of software platforms that support in-car experiences, including connected services, IVI (in-vehicle infotainment), digital meters, and cloud integration features. In the new era of car manufacturing where software takes center stage, you will drive everything from development strategy formulation to commercialization as a system architect.
You will also be involved in building new vehicle development processes utilizing agile development and DX, playing a role in transforming the very future of mobility development methods.

- Responsibilities
Development areas and business overview of the assigned organization, as well as the role and position within R&D
・Develop system architecture and core functions for cockpit systems supporting connected cars and services for SDVs targeting the global market, and establish development processes
・Specifically:
(1) Early-stage and product development of cockpit systems for SDVs as a System Architect
I am involved in the development of controllers for cockpit systems that deliver services centered on IVI and instrument clusters.
As a system architect, you will integrate the hardware (such as CPUs and memory), OS layers (RTOS, AUTOSAR, Android OS, etc.), and various applications associated with each IVI service to develop a new cockpit platform for the future.
(2) Introduction and improvement of DX initiatives and agile development methods and mechanisms to support development
While adopting an agile development style, you will explore and refine new processes that enable the simultaneous development of SDV vehicles and connected systems.
Specific job responsibilities and expected roles and positions
inside and outside the department: (1) Development strategy for SDV cockpit systems considering changes in social environment and technological trends (technology roadmap formulation)
(2) Defining requirements and commercialization
for SDV cockpit system architecture to provide customers with new experiences (3) Project management to steadily roll out SDV cockpit systems across many global vehicle models

- Qualifications (Experience/Certifications, etc.)/Skills and Experience Required
Experience in the automotive industry
Preferred
Required
・Experience in hardware and software design of electronic components (either hardware or software is acceptable, but software is preferred)
・Experience with Product Increment and Agile development(Experience with large-scale Agile development is preferred)
・Experience with system development using Agile methodologies at an IS/IT vendor
・Communication skills in both Japanese and English to accurately understand what others are saying and convey your own ideas
・TOEIC: 600 points or higher
