Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    (1) The development area and business overview of the affiliated organization, as well as roles and positions within R&D

    Establishment of in-vehicle software development processes and promotion of quality improvement activities

    ・Construction and promotion
    of internal software development processes ・Technical development and software quality audits
    to ensure software quality ・Planning and promotion of improvement activities to improve suppliers' software development capabilities and quality improvement activities

    (2) Specific responsibilities and expected roles and positions both inside and outside the department

    ・Building
    in-house software development processes: Building and operating software development processes for in-house development considering SPICE, ISO26262, ISO21434, and more

    ・Technical development and software audits
    to ensure software quality; promotion
    of quality improvement activities to ensure the overall software quality of the vehicle, including in-house and supplier development software; development of design methods and tools to enhance software quality

    (3) Workplace environment and work style (team composition, workplace atmosphere, characteristics)

    ・Software engineers with diverse backgrounds and skills, including mid-career hires, are active here.
    ・You will collaborate and collaborate with many suppliers and engineers from various departments to solve problems. Therefore, not only soft skills but also leadership and communication skills necessary for team activities are required.
    ・Since you work not only within Japan but also with many global suppliers, you can gain diverse experience such as using English and overseas business trips
  • Requirements
    ・Programming development skills (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.)
    ・Ability

  • Preferred
    Possess one of the following technologies:

    ・Practical
    experience in embedded software development ・Basic knowledge of software development (A-SPICE, ISO26262, Autosar, etc.)
    ・Experience
    conducting SQA (Software Quality Assuance) activities ・Familiarity with software development tools

You will be responsible for improving the market quality of AD/ADAS systems, leading everything from cause analysis to improvement promotion based on defect information and driving data from customers around the world. You will identify root causes in collaboration with development departments and suppliers regarding quality issues in sensors and control systems, contributing to the realization of safer and more reliable advanced driver assistance technologies. This position enables you to promote quality improvement from a global perspective.
