The HR / Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive support to the Administration Manager in human resources and general administrative functions. This role covers recruitment, benefits administration, payroll coordination, compliance, and office management to ensure smooth business operations. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    General Administration

    - Maintain personnel files and corporate records.
    - Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
    - Coordinate travel arrangements and company events.
    - Support audits and policy updates.
    - Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
    - Handle special projects and miscellaneous tasks assigned by management.

    Human Resources

    - Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and terminations.
    - Coordinate work visas and documentation for expatriates.
    - Maintain job descriptions, compensation data, and performance appraisal processes.
    - Administer payroll and timekeeping systems.
    - Manage employee benefits programs (insurance, 401K) and support audits.
    - Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

    Cross-Functional Support

    - Provide assistance to Accounting, Materials, and Logistics teams as needed.
    - Maintain technical documents and supplier certifications.
  • Requirements
    - Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    - Fluency in Japanese Language
    - Work Authorization: Must have work authorization for the US
    - Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Windows OS, and payroll software.
    - Work Environment: Office-based; occasional local Work Environment: Office-based; occasional local travel.
  • Preferred
    - 2+ years in HR or administrative roles preferred
    - HR-related certifications preferred.
