You will be responsible for comprehensive server-side development for cab applications and other new businesses. You will be entrusted with a wide range of tasks from infrastructure to application development through architecture design and system operation using GCP/AWS.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Cab app server-side engineers contribute to the growth of the service by developing the systems that serve as the hubs for each product.
    Therefore, there are many development projects, and we are looking for members who can communicate with each development group such as the user application team and in-vehicle application team, as well as PjM and PdM, and who can also improve the performance of their own team as a whole.

    Issues to be solved:
    - API development for new features
    - Load testing and countermeasures (database tuning, architecture review, etc.) to handle ever-increasing traffic
    - Improve developer experience by reducing deployment time, test execution time, etc.
    - Improve output in team development

    ■ Development environment:
    - Language: Go/ Python/Ruby
    ・Middleware: MySQL/PostgreSQL/Redis
    ・Infrastructure: GCP/AWS/Kubernetes/Docker
    ・IDE: VisualStudio Code/GoLand/IntelliJ

  • Requirements
    Experience developing and operating systems using the Go language (or able to catch up: including experience with statically typed languages)
    - Experience operating Linux
    - Experience developing and operating back-end web or smartphone applications
    - Ability to incorporate generative AI into your own and your team's development work, Interest in incorporating generative AI into your own or your team's development work and significantly improving development efficiency.
  • Preferred
    Experience in development and operation of in-house services
    ・Experience in application development using GAE/GKE/EKS
    ・Experience in team leadership and team management
    ・Experience in large-scale team development
    ・Experience in development and operation of systems handling large-scale traffic
