You will be engaged as the main person in charge of developing various components (cryogenic piping, high-pressure piping, pneumatic valves, solenoid valves, propellant management devices, etc.) to be installed on rocket bodies in the pressurized supply group, which develops equipment necessary for liquid rocket propulsion systems.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    -Strength design of equipment (piping, valves, etc.) considering special environments such as cryogenic temperatures and in-flight vibration
    -Study of flow path geometry based on fluidic requirements
    -Fluid and structural analysis and evaluation of results in collaboration with the analysis team
    -Prepare manufacturing drawings and coordinate with production team
    -Planning various tests to verify the designed components and implementation and evaluation (vibration, thermal cycling, flow testing)
  • Requirements
    Experience in hardware development in the aerospace industry (approx. 3 years or more)
    ・Japanese business level

  • Preferred
    Experience in strength design of structures under pressure
    - Experience in using related devices (pressure sensors, thermocouples, solenoid valves, pressure regulators, etc.)
    - Experience in mechanical design and static strength analysis, eigenvalue analysis, and vibration response analysis using 3D CAD
    - Basic knowledge of material properties such as metals and resins, and of cutting and sheet metal working

You will be in charge of mechanical design for avionics components mounted on small rockets.
While promoting the development of current aircraft, you will be in charge of focusing on the development of avionics component housings for future aircraft.
