Promote IoT/DX solution development for battery recycling ecosystem

The company boasts the No. 1 market share in Japan in the automotive components industry in the areas of thermal systems, mobility systems, powertrain systems, electrification systems, and electronic systems.
Currently, we are focusing on four areas: electrification, connectivity, advanced safety/automated driving, and non-automotive business (FA/agriculture).

You will play an active role in the realization of a "battery recycling society" in which car batteries that have reached the end of their useful life are "reused" as vehicles, "reused" for energy management in the city, and "recycled" as rare metal resources.

In order to realize a battery recycling society, you will be active as a project leader or sub-leader in the development of a commercial IT system to determine the value of automotive batteries approaching the end of their useful life in order to build an eco-system and commercialize battery reuse/recycling services. In the future, you will also be responsible for platform development in the ecosystem.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Concretize and dig deeper into potential requirements and assumed issues from potential customers

・Promote development of cloud-based applications and IoT solutions linked to devices while advancing business analysis, needs analysis, and data analysis

・Develop and promote issue resolution in cooperation with customers
Requirements

Experience in proposing and developing new business systems for clients (especially, experience in business systems for manufacturing industry)

- Experience in business analysis and Fit&Gap of systems used by multiple departments

- Experience as a project leader or sub-leader

- Experience in system development that ensures quality according to V-shaped model

- Experience in requirement definition Experience in the development of systems that are used in the business analysis, Fit&Gap, basic design, testing, etc.

・Able to take on challenges and passionate about solving customer issues, and willing to enter the field to do so

・Strong relationship building skills with customers/affiliates and internal departments
Preferred

Knowledge and experience in mechanical/electrical/chemical

- Experience in development of IoT devices

- Knowledge of cloud computing in general and experience in system development

- Passed one of the advanced information processing engineer exams

- General knowledge of advanced IT technologies such as AI and data analysis
