We are developing sustainable mobility services that reduce environmental impact and include solutions to urban transportation issues as well as rural transportation issues.
You will combine data, technology, and the power of the field to establish a level of operational excellence unrivaled by competitors in a wide range of complex operations, from vehicle life cycle management (vehicle deployment, battery replacement, recovery, and maintenance), operations center management, logistics network development, and collaboration with external partners, to ensuring service quality and safety. You will establish a level of operational excellence unmatched by competitors by combining data, technology, and the power of the field.

- Responsibilities
- Formulate and lead the operations strategy:
・Develop a medium- to long-term strategy (3-5 years) and implementation roadmap for the operations division in conjunction with the business strategy, and lead the implementation of the strategy with the management team.
Reporting on the operations strategy and making recommendations for key decisions at management meetings and other meetings.
Design and transformation of the operations model:
・Design and build a radically efficient and resilient operations model (processes, organization, and systems) with a view to scaling up to hundreds of thousands of vehicles.
Defined KPIs in key areas such as battery replacement, fleet management, repair & maintenance, and logistics, identified bottlenecks based on data analysis, and led the implementation of best practices and process reform.
Oversee key projects:
・Oversee overall design, risk assessment, and launch of operations strategy for expansion into new cities (launch)
・Analysis of operations cost structure and develop and implement strategic measures (in-house/outsourcing optimization, automation, etc.) to dramatically increase cost efficiency
■Department Cross-divisional leadership:
・Collaborate closely with top management of related divisions such as product development, engineering, data science, business development, etc., and pursue company-wide optimization through input from an operations perspective.
Formation of teams and management of team members for strategy execution.

- Requirements
- ▪ Work experience in operations strategy, supply chain strategy, business planning, corporate planning, or related consulting area (approx. 7+ years)
▪ Experience leading large and complex operations (logistics, manufacturing, platforms, etc.) design, improvement, and transformation projects from strategy development to execution
▪ Excellent leadership. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, including executive level, to build consensus and drive the organization.

- Deep knowledge and experience in the mobility services, last mile delivery, e-commerce, and sharing economy industries
- Experience in business promotion at the management level or equivalent position at a fast-growing startup
- Experience managing and developing subordinates and teams
