As a strategic and trusted partner to the CFO and senior leadership, you will be responsible for planning and managing large-scale finance events and leading finance development programs. It requires foresight and risk management skills based on project timelines and reporting schedules.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ■Coordination and support
    for strategic finance projects, such as strategic projects and financial transformation
    and M&A, Best Finance initiatives, and cross-functional transformation programs, centralized
    reporting, documentation, and communication among project stakeholders, project progress, risks, Managing milestones and early escalation
    of issues Promoting and leading selected Finance Community (FC) projects as acting CFO

    ■Coordination and preparation
    of various committees and appointments, preparation
    of agendas, briefing materials, and decision-making documents for internal and external meetings, including committees and the Board of Directors, confirmation of contents through independent coordination with related departments, data collection, ensuring
    accuracy, preparation of meeting minutes, management of action items, and thorough
    follow-up - Organize meeting materials and assign appropriate tasks to relevant parties

    ■IR (investor relations) and external communication support
    , cooperation with the IR team in quarterly and full-year financial results preparation (briefing materials, Q&A, CFO messages, etc.)
    ・Earnings briefings, analyst meetings, and support for logistics and content preparation
    for investor roadshows, IR, group accounting, FP on related topics &A, legal affairs, ensuring consistency
    with corporate communications and managing key themes, follow-up matters, and commitments arising from dialogue with investors

    ■Financial communication and organizational engagement
    ・Planning and management
    of company-wide finance meetings, leadership off-site, quarterly communication events・Internal messages from the CFO, strategy updates, support
    for creating communications for the finance community ・Finance team, operating companies, Promote engagement measures to disseminate
    consistent and timely information among global stakeholders, strengthen finance culture, and strengthen communities

    ■ Personnel planning and budget management
    in group finance, lead in personnel planning, tracking, and reporting
    in group finance, recruitment support
    for the entire finance in cooperation with HR, budget management and performance reporting in group finance (including variance analysis)
    ・As a gatekeeper for major investments and expenditures outside of group finance, ensuring consistency with financial governance standards
  • Requirements
    ・At least 6-10 years of experience
    in at least two of the finance-related areas, such as accounting, FP&A, treasury, IR, Finance PMO, and strategy. ・Experience working in multinational corporations or matrix-type organizations is welcome
    ・Experience in negotiating
    with management, including executive-level document creation and communication. ・Language skills (business level in both Japanese and English)
    ・High conceptual and analytical thinking skills
    to understand and connect across finance, strategy, and operations, high confidentiality, professionalism, appropriate judgment
    , and strong project management skills involving multiple stakeholders (planning, progress management, and coordination)
    ・Ability to respond under pressure, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform with short deadlines
