This position leads related departments and overseas bases in addressing vehicle quality defects that occur in the global market, promoting rapid root cause identification and market response. Covering a wide range of areas such as vehicle bodies, chassis, driver assistance systems, and infotainment, we utilize all kinds of data such as vehicle data, market recalls, and log information to get to the heart of the issue.
Beyond simple analysis, it plays a central role in the quality domain, assessing the impact and scalability of defects, and making decisions including market responses such as recalls and warranty extensions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

■ Analysis of defects, identification of causes
, identification of fault occurrence trends through
analysis of vehicle data and telematics information, analysis of market recall parts and identification
of occurrence mechanisms - Hypothesis verification
through reproduction testing and simulation Characteristics by domain:
(1) Composite analysis
of chassis/body: mechanical (70–80%) + control (2) ADAS: Situation analysis from image and video data, verification
of recognition logic (3) IVI: Identification of software defects through log data analysis (operation history and signal flow)

■ Countermeasure planning, quality improvement promotion
, development, manufacturing, purchasing, countermeasure
planning in collaboration with business partners, promotion of corrective actions
in collaboration with the quality department, and feedback on design and processes to prevent recurrence

■ Planning and promotion
of market responses, evaluation of the severity and scalability
of defects, recalls, service campaigns, decision and promotion
of warranty extensions, and market expansion through collaboration with overseas local subsidiaries and service departments

■ Project leadership
, involvement of related departments (development, manufacturing, service, overseas bases
), establishment and promotion
of systems for early resolution, global information sharing, and decision support

■ Business reform
through AI and DX utilization, streamlining and sophisticating
data analysis processes, automated
log analysis and anomaly detection, and accelerating and sophisticating operations through "reviewing traditional methods"
Requirements

・Work experience
in technical roles in manufacturing (development/design/quality/production technology, etc.) ・Ordinary Class 1 driver's license
*During defect inspections, you may actually drive the car.
Preferred

・Experience
handling automotive parts, experience in defect analysis
, knowledge in
ADAS and IVI fields ・Experience in DX-related work such as improving business efficiency and promoting improvements using AI
