The company operates internationally with strong R&D capabilities and collaborates with major OEMs to develop next-generation safety and in-cabin technologies.

In this role, you will act as the key quality interface between Japanese OEM customers and global development teams in Europe, supporting advanced ADAS and electronic system projects from development through mass production.

You will manage quality-related activities across the product lifecycle, including APQP/PPAP documentation, customer communication, issue management, change management, and coordination with manufacturing sites to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Project Quality Management
    ・Support new ADAS system development projects from development through mass production
    ・Manage project quality activities and delivery-related Quality events
    ・Create and maintain APQP / PPAP documentation
    ・Coordinate quality activities with internal teams and manufacturing sites

    Customer & Global Communication
    ・Serve as a quality interface with Japanese OEM customers
    ・Communicate customer requirements and feedback to development teams in Europe
    ・Lead weekly quality meetings with customers and manufacturing sites
    ・Report investigation results and quality updates to stakeholders

    Production & Change Management
    ・Support PSW submission activities and customer approvals
    ・Manage 4M changes and software-related changes with manufacturing sites
    ・Support software reflash activities locally in Japan when
    required ・Handle returned parts analysis, issue investigation, and corrective actions

    Internal Coordination
    ・Lead daily project quality meetings and reporting activities
    ・Update delivery checklists and quality tracking documentation
    ・Coordinate issue escalation and follow-up activities across teams
  • Requirements
    ・Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in automotive electrical/electronic product development projects
    ・Business to advanced business-level English
    ・Business-level Japanese
  • Preferred
    ・Knowledge or experience in software development
    ・Knowledge of ADAS products and systems
    ・Experience serving as a customer interface for Japanese OEMs
    ・Experience with automotive quality processes such as APQP, PPAP, PSW, 4M change management
